Furthermore, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Suriname formalized their cooperation through the signing of an agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, special, and official passports at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations in New York. This agreement was signed by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, and Albert Ramdin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Suriname.
In the aftermath of these engagements, the two ministers expressed their aspirations to further advance bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic and commercial sectors, as well as in the exchange of expertise and scientific collaboration.
