Sayyid Badr, Iranian FM Review Bilateral Cooperation And Regional Development

The Foreign Minister of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, engaged in political discussions at the Foreign Ministry on Sunday. They explored various topics related to enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

Both ministers commended the strong bilateral ties between Oman and Iran, emphasizing the importance of good neighborly relations and mutual trust. These principles have played a crucial role in strengthening the relationship between the two countries and benefiting their respective peoples.

During the meeting, the ministers addressed regional and international developments of mutual concern, particularly focusing on the Palestinian cause and the situation in the Gaza Strip. They highlighted the necessity of supporting the Palestinian people, opposing any efforts to displace them from their homeland, and providing humanitarian, political, and legal assistance to help them achieve their legitimate rights in accordance with international law. Additionally, they discussed the importance of ending the siege and escalations imposed by the Israeli occupation.
