During their discussion, they deliberated on recent developments within the region, particularly focusing on the Israeli aggression directed towards Iranian territories.
In response to the Israeli aggression, His Excellency Sayyid Badr unequivocally condemned such actions, emphasizing the Sultanate of Oman's staunch opposition to any measures that contravene the sovereignty of nations and the principles of international law, thereby jeopardizing the security and stability of the region.
He underscored the critical need to bolster dialogue and diplomatic collaboration among regional nations to safeguard regional security and avert further tension and escalation.
Dr. Abbas Araghchi reciprocated the Sultanate of Oman's stance, expressing his admiration for the Sultanate's diplomatic endeavors aimed at fostering peace and harmony within the region.
Furthermore, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran highlighted the imperative to strengthen collaborative efforts to curb the spread of conflicts and to intensify cooperation in addressing the root causes of regional disputes.
