Royal Academy Of Management Reviews Its 2024 Programmes

Muscat: The Royal Academy of Management (RAM) convened a press conference today to present its plans for the academic year 2024.

These plans encompass five fundamental strategies aimed at achieving impact and leadership, as well as two innovative programs designed to enhance future leadership and the future of work in the government sector for directors general in the GCC states.

The initial strategy revolves around supporting the development of a comprehensive executive learning system.

The second strategy places great importance on quality and sustainability, prioritizing them as guiding principles for generating impact.

The third strategy focuses on establishing a strong connection with beneficiaries of the academy's services, particularly by understanding and addressing their needs and aspirations.

The fourth strategy promotes consistency by aligning local content with global trends.

The fifth strategy pertains to the establishment of a new style of leadership that combines flexibility, experimentation, and innovation.

The two new programs address the preparedness of future leaders in both the government and private sectors. They aim to equip future talents with the necessary knowledge, skills, visions, and strategies. These programs also introduce measures to translate theory into tangible reality.

During the press conference, the RAM highlighted a variety of programs. These programs encompass the Policy and Strategic Planning Program, the National Leadership Development and Future Anticipation Program, the Women Leaders Development Program, the New Government Employees Training Program, the Executive Strategic Planning Program, the Professional Project Management Program, and the Flexibility and Risk Management Program.

The RAM emphasized that these programs are part of the National Initiative for Local Management Development, which includes the Governors' Program, the Planning and Economic Capabilities Program for governorates, and the Municipal Council Members Program.

The Future Readiness Initiatives consist of forums and discussions on future trends to help leaders gain a deeper understanding of emerging trends that will shape the future of countries. These initiatives aim to enhance leaders' skills in dealing with future developments, seizing opportunities, and benefiting from experiences and initiatives that positively impact global economies.

The "Future Readiness Initiatives" focus on the future of governments, the economy, and higher education institutions. They are designed for leaders in public and private organizations, as well as partners and stakeholders in various sectors.
