Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has refuted allegations concerning a robbery reported in the Wilayat of Bahla, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, and has apprehended an individual for producing and disseminating an inaccurate video on social media platforms.
In a statement published on the official website of ROP, it was declared: "The information disseminated on social media regarding a robbery committed under duress against an individual while he was withdrawing funds at Wadi Quriyat, within the Wilayat of Bahla, is entirely false. The individual featured in the video has been apprehended, and legal proceedings are in the process of being initiated against him."
