Muscat: In the wake of a triumphant 2023/24 season characterized by exceptional performances, Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) is poised to unveil its eagerly anticipated upcoming season.
The formal announcement is set to occur on the 18th of August, 2024, at 11:00 am, and will be live streamed on the ROHM YouTube channel. Subsequent to the announcement, tickets for the forthcoming season will be made available for purchase on the ROHM website.
ROHM warmly invites all aficionados of the performing arts to partake in the virtual launch event and discover the unique lineup of performances that await audiences for the 2024/25 season.
Looking ahead to the season, Umberto Fanni, the Director General of the Royal Opera House Muscat, expressed his anticipation, stating, “I am excited to introduce our new season to our loyal and dedicated audience. This season promises to be a significant milestone in the rich history of ROHM, featuring enchanting operas, mesmerizing ballets, and renowned performers.”
The preceding season has captivated audiences with an array of distinguished productions, including the iconic opera The Barber of Seville, the captivating ballet Raymonda from the Bolshoi Ballet, the family-friendly Symphony on Ice, a stunning collaboration of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Teatro Carlo Felice di Genoa, sold-out shows of the acrobatic Swan Lake, the unforgettable percussion show Stomp, and the memorable Muscat debut of the world-renowned soprano Sonya Yoncheva in Homage to Maria Callas, among other remarkable productions.
