Muscat: The Environment Authority (EA) has provided clarification regarding the unpleasant odors reported from a farm located in the Wilayat of Sinaw, within the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
The Authority has affirmed its prior issuance of a seizure report against the farm, citing the discharge of pollutants into the surrounding environment as the reason for the action. The matter is currently under investigation and will be submitted to the appropriate court for further proceedings.
In a statement, the EA expressed, "The Environment Authority has taken note of the concerns raised regarding the odors emanating from a farm in the Wilayat of Sinaw. We acknowledge and value the citizens' vigilance and their efforts in safeguarding the environment of Oman."
Furthermore, the Authority has issued a call to all individuals to adhere to environmental laws and regulations.
