Muscat: Takatuf Oman Company, a subsidiary of Oman Investment Authority (OIA), has announced the commencement of registration for a scholarship program called (Oman Pioneers).
This program aims to send candidates to prestigious international universities, allowing them to pursue specialized fields of study that align with the priorities of national development and the support of the economy.
Sheikh Ibrahim Mohammed Al Harthi, CEO of Takatuf, informed Oman News Agency (ONA) that the program will provide scholarships to 150 students across five batches. Registration for the program will remain open until 24th February, he added.
The program is specifically designed for Omani Grade 11 students (or equivalent).
Interested candidates can register by completing the online form available on the program's official website (www.takatufscholars.om) or through their social media accounts.
Upon meeting the required criteria, each student will be awarded an international scholarship and will commence their studies at a local school for two years before progressing to an affiliated university to pursue a bachelor's degree.
