Muscat: Today, the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), under the representation of the Musandam Security Force, in collaboration with the Royal Special Force of Bahrain, conducted a joint practical demonstration, codenamed “Al Nimr Al Arabi” or “Arabian Tiger 4”.
This exercise, supported by the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), took place under the guidance of Maj. Gen. Mattar Salim Al Balushi, the Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO). It was also attended by Brigadier General Yasser Mohammed Al Ma’awdah, the Commander of the Special Operations Battalion 24 of the Royal Bahraini Special Force.
The practical demonstration was conducted at the Combat Training Unit, located in both urban and mountainous regions within the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. Here, the participating forces executed their predetermined plans and successfully met their training objectives. The participants demonstrated exceptional performance, morale, and combat capabilities, showcasing a high level of coordination and effectiveness in executing these joint exercises.
This joint exercise served as a crucial component in a series of annual training plans and programs conducted by the RAO, in collaboration with the armies of Arab and foreign countries, aimed at maintaining the combat readiness and efficiency of RAO personnel.
