The Sultanate of Oman has recently provided assistance to the Republic of Yemen in Al-Mahra Governorate and its affiliated directorates through the "Iftar for the Fasting" program for the year 2024.
Oman Charitable Organisation (OCO) has played a significant role in this initiative. According to a statement from OCO, the organization has sent a convoy of annual Ramadan parcels containing essential food items to Al-Mahra Governorate.
The aim of this aid is to support vulnerable and needy families in the governorate. A total of 26,400 food parcels were distributed, and the aid was transported using over 95 tractor trucks and trailers.
This effort demonstrates Oman's commitment to providing assistance to those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.
