Muscat: The Qatar Parliamentary Friendship Group from the Qatar Shura Council traveled to the State Council on Wednesday to discuss knowledge and develop stronger strategic cooperation ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar.
Sheikh Dr. Hilal Ali Al Hinai, Vice Chairman of the State Council, Khalid Ahmed Al Saadi, Secretary-General of the State Council, and other members of the General Secretariat welcomed the delegation.
During the visit, friendly talks were conducted, emphasizing the excellent bilateral ties between the two sisterly countries. Both sides emphasized the significance of boosting collaboration between their respective legislative organizations.
The visiting delegation was briefed on the Council's function, duties, development milestones, important activities, accomplishments, and operational procedures for its primary entities.
Members of the Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Group, on the other hand, thanked the State Council for the warm welcome and lauded the Sultanate of Oman's strong bilateral ties with the State of Qatar.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation toured the Council's facilities and were introduced to different services.
