Muscat: The Police Aviation unit successfully executed a rescue mission in Jebel Shams, located in the Wilayat of Al Hamra, where they saved two Omani nationals who had lost their way and were fatigued from hiking and climbing.
The individuals were safely brought to a secure area and are reported to be in good health.
The Royal Oman Police highlighted the necessity of following safety protocols and thoroughly planning before participating in mountain activities to prevent similar situations.
