Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has transmitted a letter of condolence to President John Dramani Mahama of the Republic of Ghana in response to the deaths of the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovation, as well as other Ghanaian government officials following a military helicopter crash in the Ashanti Region of southern Ghana.
His Majesty the Sultan expressed his profound sadness at the terrible event, praying to Allah the Almighty to keep this friendly country from the scourge of accidents and catastrophes, and to provide the victims' families with patience and comfort.
