Muscat: The Environment Authority announced that starting tomorrow, July 1, the use of plastic bags in health facilities will be prohibited.
During the initial stage of the initiative, plastic bags will not be allowed in pharmacies, hospitals, and clinics.
Violating this regulation may result in a fine ranging from 50 to 1000 rials, with the penalty doubling for repeat offenses.
