The National Centre for Cardiac Medicine and Surgery at the Royal Hospital in Muscat has successfully completed a groundbreaking procedure by implanting a pacemaker in the left heart nerve of three patients.

This milestone surgery marks the first of its kind in the Sultanate of Oman, showcasing the Centre's commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare.

The advanced technology utilized in this procedure offers a less invasive and more effective solution for patients suffering from heart failure.

By inserting the pacemaker cable in the upper ventricular septum and connecting it to the pacemaker device under the skin, the Centre has demonstrated its dedication to utilizing cutting-edge techniques for the benefit of patients.
