Over 160,000 People Visit Al Amerat Park

Al Amerat: Muscat Nights at Al Amerat Park in the Muscat Governorate has attracted a significant number of visitors from both within the Sultanate and abroad. Attendees have enjoyed a diverse array of entertainment and cultural programs.

Yasser bin Salim Al Ameri, a member of the Main Committee for Muscat Nights Activities and Chairman of the Al Amerat Parks Activities Committee, noted that the events at Al Amerat Park have drawn thousands of attendees, appealing to individuals of all ages.

Since the activities commenced on December 23, the visitor count at Al Amerat Park has exceeded 160,000 as of last Saturday.

The events held at the Heritage Village have also seen a substantial turnout, featuring traditional arts and games, Omani cuisine, crafts, and theatrical performances.

Al Ameri mentioned that the Al Amerat Park stage will host several theatrical performances and entertainment programs in the coming days, including the “Hybrid Show” and activities in the children's car ring.

Each evening at Al Amerat Park features fireworks and a consumables exhibition, he added.

Marhoon bin Khalifa Al Bassami, the owner of the Heritage House at Al Amerat Park, stated that the Heritage House attracts visitors with its collection of heritage artifacts and tools, some of which are over 3,000 years old, alongside Islamic swords, daggers, shields, and traditional Omani implements.

It is important to note that the Muscat Nights activities, which began on December 23, will run until February 1.
