In Muscat, authorities have apprehended an individual for posing as a police officer and extorting money from a victim.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) issued a statement confirming, "The Muscat Governorate Police Command has arrested an individual for impersonating a police officer and unlawfully obtaining money from the victim. Legal proceedings are currently underway."
