Omani Institutions Provide Support To Fak Kurbah Initiative

A range of government and private sector institutions have shown their support for the 11th edition of the "Fak Kurbah" initiative. This year, the initiative aims to release 1,500 individuals who are either imprisoned or have orders issued against them, under the theme "Because we believe that a person deserves a second chance."

Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Zadjali, the President of the Omani Lawyers Association and supervisor of the initiative, expressed his gratitude to all the contributors, including individuals, groups, and institutions. He emphasized that the achievements of the initiative demonstrate the solidarity of Omani society in providing assistance to those in need and contribute to the societal and humanitarian goals of the initiative.

Al Zadjali further highlighted that the support from government and private institutions serves as further evidence of the initiative's success and its ability to reach a wide audience. It also reflects the strength and unity of Omani society, both at an individual and institutional level.

Since its inception in 2012, the "Fak Kurbah" initiative has played a significant role in the release of over 5,890 cases, showcasing its ongoing commitment to humanitarian efforts.
