Omani Gets Membership Of International Council On Education And Teaching

Muscat: Dr. Yusra Juma Al Sinani, an Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching at the College of Education, Sultan Qaboos University, has been appointed as a member of the International Council on Education and Teaching (ICET), representing Arab nations. This appointment was made during the ICET’s 65th general assembly meeting held in Portugal.

Dr. Yusra’s new role within ICET highlights the significant academic capabilities of Oman and emphasizes their vital role in advancing education both regionally and globally.

The ICET is a global non-governmental organization based in the United States, recognized for its consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The organization is dedicated to enhancing the quality of education worldwide and improving teacher training practices.
