Oman Wins 7 Medals In Special Olympics In Italy

Turin: The Sultanate of Oman has successfully wrapped up its participation in the Special Olympics World Winter Games, held in Turin, Italy, in 2025.

Throughout the competition, Oman secured a total of seven medals, comprising 1 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze.

Hossam Nasser Al Amri achieved the gold medal in the 300-meter speed skating event.

In the silver medal category, Hossam Nasser Al Amri also claimed one in the 200-meter speed skating event, while Al Barraa Malik Al Battashi earned the other silver in the 100-meter cross-country event.

Among the four bronze medals, Retaj Sultan Al Salmi earned two in the 200-meter and 100-meter speed skating events. Additionally, Al Baraa Malik Al Battashi secured one bronze in the cross-country skating event, and Amira Abdulaziz Al Raisi won another bronze in the 100-meter snow running event.
