Muscat: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Sultanate of Oman has expressed its appreciation for the collaborative statement issued by the President of the United States, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Emir of the State of Qatar, emphasizing the critical need to finalize the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
The three leaders have been encouraged to reconvene for negotiations in either Doha or Cairo on the 15th of August, while acknowledging the commendable efforts made towards the attainment of this agreement.
The Ministry has underscored the Sultanate of Oman's stance on the critical importance of upholding the commitments made and implementing them promptly. Furthermore, it has called upon all involved parties to recommence the negotiations mentioned in the statement, with the objective of realizing the desired outcomes and mitigating the suffering of the Palestinian people.
