Oman, UAE Explore Cooperation Opportunities In Higher Education

Abu Dhabi: The Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have engaged in discussions to explore potential collaborations in the fields of higher education, scientific research, innovation, and vocational training.

During the meeting, both sides delved into various topics concerning the advancement of the educational system. They also examined exemplary educational and research practices, while seeking ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and organize joint initiatives. Notably, the establishment of the Oman-UAE Knowledge Dialogue Forum was discussed as a means to align higher education institutions in both countries.

This productive exchange occurred during the visit of Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, to the UAE. The purpose of her two-day visit was to foster dialogue on potential areas of cooperation between the two nations and explore future opportunities in the realms of higher education, scientific research, innovation, and vocational training.
