Muscat: On Tuesday evening, April 9, 2024, the main committee responsible for monitoring the sighting of the Shawwal crescent for the year 1445 AH will convene at the General Office of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA).
Leading the committee meeting will be His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Maamari, the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
In an effort to ensure accurate observations, the Ministry has urged both citizens and residents to actively participate in the search for the crescent moon. They are encouraged to collaborate with the field teams in their respective regions or reach out to the subcommittees located in the offices of the esteemed governors.
