Oman Pavilion Draws Large Crowd At Algiers International Fair

Algiers: Since its debut at the 56th Algiers International Fair, where Oman is the guest of honour, the Sultanate of Oman's pavilion has garnered considerable interest from visitors and Algerian business officials.

Algerian tourists and business officials told the Oman News Agency (ONA) that Oman’s pavilion is a highlight of this year’s fair, with a unique design that reflects the country’s history and culture. The pavilion showcases a wide variety of Omani enterprises engaged in industrial, commercial, and service sectors.

Tariq Mosoni, a plastics business entrepreneur, stated that the Omani pavilion features high-quality goods with great specifications, commending both the products and competitive pricing of Omani plastic firms, which have gained favor among Algerian customers.

Iman Bouthelja, a visitor, praised the product variety, calling the pavilion “magnificent” and well-received by attendees. She anticipated that participating Omani companies would obtain commercial contracts and agencies with Algerian firms, owing to the quality and specifications of their products.

Meanwhile, Algerian businessman Abdurrahman bin Omar emphasized that Oman’s pavilion offers Algerian visitors and entrepreneurs the chance to closely observe Omani products and industries.

He mentioned that their great quality might aid in establishing trade connections in Algerian and neighboring markets, indicating his willingness to collaborate with numerous Omani firms in the electrical and agricultural sectors.

The Omani pavilion features 60 businesses from pharmaceuticals, transportation, electrical transformers, and real estate to fisheries, tourism, food products, handicrafts, and other industries.
