Two Arrested For Public Morals Violations In Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said that two persons, an Omani woman and a Syrian resident, had been detained. This decision was made after the couple posted numerous video clips that officials claim violate public ethics.

The ROP officially stated that the recently viral films on social media sites were disrespectful and in violation of Omani public decency regulations. Both persons are now in custody, and legal processes have begun against them.
