Doha: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Educational Quality Assurance, participated in the second meeting of GCC officials focused on Higher Education Quality Assurance. The meeting took place in Doha, with Jokha Abdullah Al Shukaili, CEO of the Oman Authority, representing Oman.
Discussions at the meeting covered various topics of mutual interest aimed at enhancing the quality of higher education and academic accreditation across GCC countries. Notable issues included a proposed project by the “Gulf Network on the Joint Database for External Reviewers” and an initiative to develop training programs and collaborative field studies between the "Gulf Network" and the entities responsible for ensuring quality in higher education and academic accreditation.
