Muscat: Today, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Nepal convened for the initial phase of political consultations at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat.
The delegation from Oman was led by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, who presided over the session. The delegation from Nepal was chaired by Seva Lamsal, the Foreign Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The discussions focused on the current bilateral relations between the two nations, reaffirming their mutual commitment to fostering cooperation across various domains. Additionally, the consultations addressed a variety of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by Dornath Aryal, the Ambassador of Nepal to the Sultanate of Oman, and Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Balushi, the Acting Deputy Head of the Asia and Pacific Department.
