Oman, Mauritania Explore Means Of Promoting Cooperation In Endowments Sector

An official meeting took place in Muscat today between the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, represented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Original Education.

Leading the Omani delegation was Dr. Mohammed Said Al Ma’amari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, while the Mauritanian delegation was headed by Dah Ould Sidi Ould Amar Taleb, Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education.

The discussions highlighted the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and emphasized the cooperation and synergy in the fields of endowments and religious affairs. The agenda included talks on enhancing collaboration in religious matters and leveraging each other's experiences in the endowments sector.

A detailed presentation was delivered during the meeting, focusing on the strategic initiatives of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Oman, particularly in digital transformation, endowments management, mosque reconstruction, Quranic education, preaching, and research and development.
