Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has unequivocally condemned and rejected the Israeli decisions and actions aimed at undermining the humanitarian efforts and responsibilities entrusted to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) within the occupied Palestinian territories.
In a formal statement released today by the Foreign Ministry, it commended the significant contributions of the UNRWA in supporting over two million Palestinian refugees. It issued a warning regarding the severe repercussions that would ensue from excluding the agency, emphasizing the critical need for immediate and urgent action from the international community to safeguard the rights of the Palestinian people, particularly their right to self-determination.
