Oman Condemns Israeli Knesset’s Approval Of Bill Imposing Sovereignty Over West Bank

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has denounced the Israeli Knesset's acceptance of a draught statute that would impose Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank in Palestine. Oman stated that this action constitutes yet another breach of international law, United Nations resolutions, and a purposeful sabotage of Middle East peace efforts, the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, and the two-state solution.

Oman reiterates its strong condemnation of Israel's ongoing imposition of blockade and starvation policies, as well as its impediment of access to food, medicines, and humanitarian aid for the people of the Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian territory, according to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry today. It holds Israel and its allies entirely accountable for the legal, humanitarian, and political repercussions of these operations, which are prohibited by international humanitarian law.
