Muscat: On Tuesday, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus held their seventh round of political talks in Muscat.
Leading the Omani delegation was Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Belarusian delegation was headed by Evgeny Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
During the discussions, both sides expressed their strong commitment to further enhancing cooperation across various sectors.
Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy and Evgeny Shestakov also engaged in fruitful conversations regarding various regional and international matters of mutual interest, including the implications of the Israeli war on Gaza.
The meeting was graced by the presence of Munthir Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Head of the Europe Department, and Sergei Terentiev, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Oman.
Additionally, several officials from both sides were also in attendance.
