The Oman American Business Council (OABC), Oman's largest and most active business networking group and the official affiliate of the US Chamber of Commerce in Oman, partnered with Dentons, the region's leading law firm and a premium member of OABC, to host a successful morning session on the new regulations of the personal data protection law in Oman.
On May 15, the event took place at the Intercontinental Hotel Muscat, attracting over 100 esteemed legal professionals, executives, and business leaders. The main focus of the session was to discuss the significant changes introduced by the new data protection law. Prior to the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to network and enjoy coffee. Dentons' team then delivered a comprehensive presentation, leaving no aspect of the law unaddressed and ensuring clarity for all participants.
