Muscat: The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) has commenced the 41st session of the Consumer Confidence Survey for the first quarter of 2024. This survey, which will continue until 14 March, is designed to gather insights from Omani citizens aged 18 and above. It aims to include a diverse sample of at least 1,500 citizens from different governorates, ensuring representation from various genders, age groups, and educational backgrounds.
To ensure comprehensive data collection, the NCSI will also conduct telephone interviews through its call center. The Consumer Confidence Survey for Q1 2024 aims to assess various factors that impact the Omani economy. These factors include the financial well-being of households, both positive and negative influences on the economy, future economic expectations, and the availability of job opportunities.
