Mwasalat Begins Bus Service From Muscat To Sharjah

Mwasalat, a subsidiary of the Asyad Group, has recently launched its inaugural land trip from Muscat to Sharjah, passing through the Wilayat of Shinas in the North Al Batinah Governorate.

This new intercity bus service, operated by Mwasalat, connects the Muscat Governorate in Oman to the Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The Muscat-Sharjah route includes stops in the Wilayat of Shinas and offers two daily round trips.

The bus departs from a transportation station located in Azaiba, within the Muscat Governorate.

During the first week of operation, these trips will serve as a trial period. This new route aims to enhance connectivity with other transportation networks in Oman, providing access to various destinations in both countries. Mwasalat has set ambitious goals to become a regional transport operator by adhering to world-class standards.

The bus route includes several important stops, such as the Mwasalat bus station in Azaiba, Muscat International Airport, Burj Al Sahwa bus station, Maabilah bus station, Mwasalat bus station in Sohar, Mwasalat ferry terminal in Shinas, Kalba bus stop, Fujairah, Sharjah Industrial Area 4, and Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah.

It is worth mentioning that the operation of this bus line is an extension of the passenger transport agreement signed between Mwasalat and the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority. This agreement allows for daily bus trips between the Muscat Governorate and the Emirate of Sharjah, with the aim of expanding the international bus transport network between Oman and the UAE. Additionally, it seeks to promote tourism and provide travelers with comfortable and convenient transportation options.
