Muscat And Salalah Airports Earn Top Honours From ACI

Muscat: Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport have been recognized with several awards from Airports Council International (ACI) for their exceptional Airport Service Quality in the Middle East. These honors stem from ACI's comprehensive evaluation survey, which measures various performance indicators at passenger departure points globally.

Muscat International Airport earned the title of "Best Airport in the Middle East" within the category of airports serving 5 to 15 million passengers. Additionally, it received accolades for "Best Staff Performance in the Middle East," "Easiest Airport Journey in the Middle East," and "Cleanest Airport in the Middle East."

Salalah Airport was distinguished as the "Best Airport in the Middle East" for airports accommodating fewer than 2 million passengers. It also garnered awards for "Best Staff Performance in the Middle East," "Easiest Airport Journey in the Middle East," "Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East," and "Cleanest Airport in the Middle East."

Moreover, Salalah Airport was recognized with a place on the ACI Director General’s Roll of Excellence.

Importantly, Salalah Airport is poised to be included in the "Top 10 Airports" Roll of Excellence for 2025, a prestigious list that has been in existence since 2011. To date, 82 airports have been featured, including Muscat International Airport, which made the list in 2024.
