Muscat: In an effort to mitigate traffic congestion, it has been resolved to impose restrictions on the movement of trucks on Thursday and Friday, as announced by the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The Royal Oman Police has stated, "To alleviate traffic congestion on the specified roads, it has been determined that truck movement will be restricted from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Thursday and from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Saturday."
The designated main roads in the Muscat Governorate include "Al Dakhiliyah Road" from the Muscat Governorate to Bidbid Bridge and "Al Batinah Highway" from the Muscat Governorate to Shinas.
The Royal Oman Police strongly encourages all truck drivers to comply with these directives for the benefit of public welfare.
