Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has successfully rescued a woman who was injured after falling while hiking in Jabal Shams, located in the Wilayat of Al Hamra, Al Dhahirah Governorate.
In a statement, the CDAA reported, "Rescue and ambulance teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, in collaboration with Police Aviation, responded to an incident involving a woman who fell during her mountain hiking activity in Jabal Shams, Wilayat of Al Hamra."
The teams managed to reach the woman’s location on the mountain and safely transported her to the hospital. Upon arrival, her condition was assessed as moderate. The effective collaboration between the ground rescue teams and the Police Aviation unit facilitated a prompt and efficient response to the situation.
