Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has successfully administered written examinations to over 7,000 applicants across 557 distinct job positions within 17 governmental entities.
The Ministry of Labour has undertaken both written examinations and personal interviews with numerous young individuals and women in search of employment, primarily at its central headquarters in Airport Heights, Seeb, Wilayat, as well as at the various offices of its affiliated departments across different governorates within the Sultanate of Oman.
Abdullah bin Sultan Al Sunaidi, the Assistant Director for Employment and Replacement within the Government Sector, disclosed that the examinations were administered through the central electronic employment system to a total of 7,659 applicants, comprising both male and female candidates. Furthermore, 1,721 candidates underwent personal interviews, all vying for 557 diverse job opportunities across 17 government agencies, as detailed in the announcement made by the Ministry of Labour.
Al Sunaidi further mentioned that the job vacancies advertised in the announcement spanned across various educational qualifications, including 302 candidates holding bachelor's degrees, 64 candidates possessing post-general diploma qualifications, and 191 candidates with general diploma qualifications and below.
He also highlighted that the outcomes of the examinations and personal interviews are displayed on tablet devices in real-time, allowing for immediate notification of successful candidates, thereby facilitating the initiation of their appointment processes.
