Muscat: Several wilayats across various governorates experienced light to medium rainfall, resulting in the activation of wadis on Monday.
In the Wilayat of Nizwa within the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, the villages of Wadi Al Musalla, Wadi Kummah, and Al Rahba were particularly affected by light to medium rainfall, leading to the activation of wadis in these areas.
Similarly, in the Wilayat of Nakhal within the South Al Batinah Governorate, light to medium rainfall was observed in several villages, especially on the mountainous regions, including the central area of the wilayat, and in some wadis across various localities.
The Wilayat of Rustaq also experienced rainfall that was concentrated in the villages of Wadi Bani Awf, Wadi Al Sahtan, Wadi Bani Ghafir, Wadi Bani Henai, and the Niyabat of Al Hawqayn.
In the Wilayat of Al Awabi, the rainfall was primarily observed at the summit of the mountains and in the central villages of the wilayat.
This precipitation resulted in the activation of numerous wadis, including Wadi Bani Kharous, Wadi Safoun, Wadi Al Sahtan, Wadi Bani Henai, Al Hawqayn, Wadi Bani Ghafir, Al Tayeb, Al Maydan, and Al Qabil.
