Muscat: The Minister of Labour, His Excellency the Professor, received the Minister of Expatriates’ Welfare and Employment Abroad of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in his office at the Ministry’s General Office.
The meeting focused on reviewing the current areas of cooperation between the two countries in relation to work and human resources development.
It is important to mention that the Royal Oman Police (ROP) recently suspended the issuance of visas for Bangladeshi nationals across all categories, as stated in a circular issued on October 31. As a result, the number of arrivals from Bangladesh to Oman has decreased by more than 50%.
