Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, in conjunction with His Excellency the President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, has bestowed blessings upon the initiative aimed at establishing a collaborative investment fund between Oman and Algeria. This fund will facilitate the creation of partnerships and projects across various sectors, including renewable energy, petrochemicals, desert agriculture, technology, tourism, and other sectors deemed promising.
The significance of augmenting opportunities for communication and partnership within the private sector was underscored, along with the promotion of trade and industrial exchange. This collaboration is expected to yield mutual benefits through the leveraging of each country's markets, thereby enhancing national exports and facilitating access to regional and global markets.
Both parties have also highlighted the urgency of halting Israeli aggression against the Palestinian territories, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. Furthermore, they have emphasized the Palestinian brothers' right to terminate the illegal occupation and establish an independent Palestinian state. This state should be capitalized East Jerusalem, adhering to the two-state solution, and should seek admission to the United Nations.
