Muscat: The second edition of the Educational Research Forum commenced today in Muscat, focusing on showcasing effective teaching and learning strategies while promoting the professional development of educators through educational research.
Under the patronage of Dr. Madiha Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education, the forum aims to create new opportunities for educational researchers by emphasizing the latest advancements and innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) and their applications in enhancing educational quality and integrating future skills into the learning process.
With participation from international organizations and researchers from various institutions, the forum is designed to facilitate the exchange of experiences, advance educational knowledge, and strengthen collaboration among international organizations, local institutions, and both public and private universities. It also aims to leverage the research initiatives developed by members of the Specialized Institute for Vocational Training for Teachers in relation to training programs.
Organized by the Ministry of Education, through the Specialized Institute for Vocational Training for Teachers, and the Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Sciences (ONCECS), the forum includes contributions from several international organizations, the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States, and various governmental and private higher education institutions.
The event features several workshops, including “Employing Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Research,” “Organizing and Analyzing International Data,” and “Mixed Methods Research.”
