Indian School Bousher Celebrates Graduation Ceremony With Grandeur

Muscat - Indian School Bousher celebrated a significant milestone by hosting the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025 on February 8, 2025. The event took place in the school auditorium and was honored by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Abdulaziz Al Rawahi, the esteemed Assistant General Manager of the Ministry for Manpower in the Muscat Governorate. Ms. Ashwini Sawrikar, the Director In Charge of Indian School Bousher and the Academic Chair of the Board of Directors for Indian Schools in Oman, presided over the ceremony. The gathering included notable dignitaries such as Mr. Vinoba M. P, Senior Principal and Education Advisor to the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman, along with respected members of the School Management Committee, Mr. Shanmugam Purushothaman and Ms. Soumya Parameswaran. The event brought together proud parents and committed faculty members to honor the academic accomplishments of the graduating students.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome for the parents, followed by the arrival of the Chief Guest and other honored guests. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and pride as the proceedings commenced.

A highlight of the celebration was the ‘March of Excellence’, where the graduating Grade XII students confidently paraded, representing their journey of hard work and commitment. This was succeeded by ‘Unity in Harmony’, a heartfelt performance of the National Anthems of Oman and India, promoting a sense of unity and respect.

The event was officially opened with the ‘Melody of Blessings’, a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony that symbolizes the illumination of wisdom and knowledge.

The Chief Guest, accompanied by other esteemed dignitaries, received a warm welcome, creating an atmosphere ripe for inspiration and celebration. In his address titled ‘Opening Hearts,’ the Principal expressed a sincere welcome to everyone in attendance, recognizing the commitment of students, faculty, and parents in making this significant event possible. The hall was filled with emotional yet joyful moments as the Head Boy, Vaishnav Binesh, and the Head Girl, Hannah Elizabeth George, conveyed their gratitude through touching speeches titled ‘Journey of Growth,’ reflecting on their experiences at Indian School Bousher and the friendships they have built over the years.

The faculty, serving as mentors and guides, honored the graduates with a melodious tribute through a special song named ‘Melodies of Mentors.’ The Chief Guest then delivered an address titled ‘An Inspiring Vision,’ encouraging students to face the future with confidence, resilience, and purpose.

The highly anticipated ‘Graduation Ceremony’ took the spotlight as the Outgoing Batch of 2025 received their mementoes and certificates, symbolizing the end of their school journey.

Following this, Ms. Ashwini Sawrikar shared ‘Words of Blessing,’ leading into ‘Unveiling Brilliance,’ a segment dedicated to recognizing the exceptional talents of the students. Mr. Vinoba M. P. presented the prestigious 'Topper of Toppers' award, celebrating outstanding academic performance and achievements. This was succeeded by the acknowledgment of students in three categories: academic, co-scholastic, and community service. The event was further enriched by ‘Words of Grace’ from Mr. Vinoba M. P., inspiring all present.

As a farewell gesture, the graduating class presented a Commemorative Gift to the school, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.

The ceremonial pledge was led by Principal Mr. Prabakaran P, emphasizing the importance of the values and ethics imparted to students by their alma mater. This significant event was further enhanced by a captivating classical dance performance titled ‘Grace in Motion,’ which captivated the audience.

The ceremony concluded with an Expression of Gratitude, where Vice Principal Ms. Ambika Padmanabhan offered heartfelt thanks to all those who played a role in making the event a success.

The celebration wrapped up on a high note with the Capturing Moments photo session, where students, faculty, and dignitaries came together for the much-anticipated cap toss, marking their official transition from students to proud alumni and celebrating this remarkable milestone.
