Iftar Kits Big Boon For Workers

In Muscat, the number of companies distributing iftar kits has increased as the holy month progresses. The city is bustling with people, especially bachelors and passersby, lining up to receive take-away iftar kits to break their fast punctually.

Global Money Exchange in Oman, for instance, distributes 50 to 100 iftar kits daily as part of their routine during Ramadan to demonstrate care for those fasting from dawn till dusk. Despite a decrease in mass iftars this year, these kits remain a valuable resource for laborers, individuals on the go, and bachelors residing and working in Muscat.

Mass iftars and communal gatherings are integral to the holy month for strengthening social bonds and bridging the gap between different socio-economic groups. Nurul Islam, an expatriate laborer, shared his perspective on the convenience of iftar kits, stating that it is impractical for him to reach his room in Ghala from Wadi Al Kabir where he works. The availability of iftar kits gives him assurance for fasting the following day.

The provision of take-away iftar kits plays a crucial role in enabling individuals to break their fast at the appropriate time.
