His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik concluded his two-day state visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, bidding farewell to King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein. The Jordanian Monarch presided over the farewell ceremony for His Majesty the Sultan.
At Marka Airport in Amman, His Majesty was escorted by Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of Jordan, Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein, Prince Mired bin Raad, Dr. Bisher Al Khasawneh, Prime Minister of Jordan, Yousef Issawi, Chief of the Royal Court, Amjad Quhaiwi, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Sultanate of Oman, and other senior Jordanian officials.
Following his departure, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik conveyed his gratitude to King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein in a cable. His Majesty expressed sincere thanks for the warm reception and hospitality extended during his visit.
The cable also highlighted the importance of the discussions held with the Jordanian King, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of the Omani and Jordanian people in various sectors.
His Majesty the Sultan prayed for the well-being, health, and success of King Abdullah II, underlining his hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Jordan under the wise leadership of the King.
His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied during the visit by a distinguished official delegation that included HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, and Sheikh Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al Ojaili, Ambassador of Oman to Jordan.
