HM The Sultan, King Of Jordan Exchange Medals

Amman: During His Majesty the Sultan’s current “State Visit” to the Kingdom, Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan exchanged honorary orders (medals) as a symbol of their mutual respect and appreciation.

In recognition of the strong bilateral relations between Oman and Jordan, His Majesty the Sultan bestowed upon King Abdullah II the prestigious “Order of Al Said (Wisam Al-Said)”, the highest Omani medal. This gesture reflects the Sultan’s deep pride in the enduring bond between the two nations and the strong sense of brotherhood shared by their people.

In return, King Abdullah II presented His Majesty the Sultan with the esteemed “Order of al-Hussein bin Ali,” the highest Jordanian medal. This award signifies the pride both countries hold in their longstanding historical ties and the profound affinity between the Omani and Jordanian peoples.
