Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has today promulgated Royal Decree No. (37/2024), which affirms the ratification of the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances Depleting the Ozone Layer.
Article (1) affirms the ratification of the aforementioned Kigali Amendment, in alignment with the version provided in the attachment to this decree.
Article (2) mandates that the relevant departments shall submit the endorsement document in accordance with the provisions of the aforesaid amendment.
Article (3) stipulates that this Royal decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and will come into effect from the date of its issuance.
