The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in Muscat and Sohar University have officially signed a collaboration agreement today to enhance the exchange of professional knowledge.
Dr. Muna Salim Al Jardani, the Ministry’s Undersecretary for Vocational Training, and Dr. Hamdan Suleiman Al Fazari, Vice Chancellor of Sohar University, sealed the agreement.
Under this initiative, the Ministry will leverage Sohar University’s expertise in the area of qualifications listing within the National Qualifications Framework. Additionally, the Ministry will adopt best practices from the university in quality assurance, such as institutional accreditation, policy evaluations, and support for startups.
Furthermore, the collaboration will facilitate the coordination of events, research projects, innovation initiatives, and training activities.
