Her Highness Sayyida Miyan Receives The 2025 Arab Woman Of The Year Award

Muscat: The Omani Association for Design's Chairperson, Her Highness Sayyida Miyan bint Shihab Al Said, was awarded the title of 2025 Arab Woman of the Year in the Social Impact category during a ceremony that took place in London, organised by the London Arabia Foundation.

Since its inception in 2015, the London Arabia Foundation has celebrated the accomplishments of Arab women, fostering international connections, promoting social responsibility, educational initiatives, and research efforts.

This esteemed accolade honors Her Highness’s significant contributions to social innovation, community development, and initiatives aimed at empowering the youth.

In her remarks, Her Highness Sayyida Miyan conveyed her appreciation, stating, "It is a privilege to receive this award, which I view as a testament to the essential contributions of Omani women in supporting society and driving progress. "

She also underscored the significance of social impact, articulating, “We hold a firm belief that social impact embodies a dedicated pursuit of effective solutions that enact real change in individuals' lives while enhancing social cohesion through impactful and enduring initiatives. Through diverse projects, we have aimed to uplift the potential of young national talents and cultivate an atmosphere that nurtures creativity and accountability. "

The gathering welcomed notable attendees, including Nasrat Ghani, the Deputy Speaker of the UK House of Commons, along with Arab ambassadors stationed in the United Kingdom.
