Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by "Oman Airports," hosted the inaugural GCC Airports CEOs Forum on Wednesday, leading the event at St. Regis Al Mouj, Muscat. This forum, marking its first edition this year, is a pivotal initiative aimed at fostering deeper cooperation among the airports of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The objective is to propel economic growth and enhance the development of the aviation and air transport sector within the region, ultimately benefiting the GCC populace and promoting economic integration.

The forum serves as a platform to support the collective aspirations of GCC nations, encouraging bilateral coordination among their respective institutions. It is in response to the leadership's vision for comprehensive and sustainable economic development.

This event is in harmony with the broader strategic agenda of the Gulf region, which emphasizes investment in infrastructure and service improvement to meet the anticipated surge in air travel and aviation activities.
